Refund policy
All purchases made through the online store www.bikinikloset.com or at the physical Bikinikloset store are subject to Portuguese law.
We offer a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 consecutive days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be in the same condition you received it—unworn or unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need to provide the receipt or proof of purchase.
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted for items that have been altered in any way, including items that have been washed, have odors, show signs of wear, or are damaged due to misuse.
We recommend consulting the size guide to make the most informed purchase possible. We are not responsible for misuse or incorrect washing of the items. We also recommend reading the washing and drying care instructions provided in each product description.
We have both a Physical Store and an Online Store
For purchases at the Physical Store:
You have 14 consecutive days from the date of purchase at the physical store to request an exchange or return.
If you exchange for a higher-priced item, you’ll only need to pay the difference. If the new item is of lesser value, the difference will be issued as store credit valid for up to 3 years (we do not issue refunds in cash, by card, or via credit notes).
Exchanges are subject to the stock available in-store at the time of the request.
For Online Purchases:
In accordance with Portuguese Law No. 24/2014 of February 14, customers have 14 days to cancel their order or, after receiving it at the chosen address, request an exchange or return.
For online exchanges/returns, all shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. We recommend sending items via courier or registered mail.

In your email, please specify the items you wish to return, whether you prefer an exchange or refund, your full name, contact email, phone number, which items and sizes you want (in case of an exchange), the shipping address for the new items, your invoice number and date, and IBAN if requesting a refund.
Once the item arrives at our facility, it will go through a quality control check before the return or exchange is processed. Returns will be completed within a maximum of 10 days after we receive the item.
For exchanges to countries outside the European Union, we are not responsible for customs delays or fees—these will be the responsibility of the customer. If you choose not to pay these fees and reject the package, a €90 penalty (linked to return shipping costs) will be deducted from the refund.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate and correct the issue.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, or plants), customized products (e.g., special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (e.g., beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please contact us if you have questions about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have and make a separate purchase for the new item once the return is accepted.
14-Day EU Cooling-Off Period
Regardless of the above, if the merchandise is being shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. As mentioned above, your item must be in the same condition you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded using your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it may also take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
